Heyyy guys!! WOW I just realised how long I've abandoned this place *sob!* ;_; I have good news though! As of today, I have finally ended my one-year fulltime working contract!! I'll be freelancing for the next 6 months, so that means lots more time to finish commissions, requests, and work on brand new drawings! I'm excited
Also in the coming months, I will be attending 2 conventions. One which is happening TOMORROW HAHA! Yup, it's the anime festival asia 2010 and I guess you've seen it all over the news and on the Animax channel. I will be having a booth at the artist alley together with my long-time booth buddy & bestie ~circus-usagi (haha aren't you sick of us by now) Sooo...come say HI!! I've no idea where my booth is located *lol* but just look for outrageously-dressed old women gawking over cute boys, and that will be us.
The next convention will follow shortly after, from 10-12 Dec. It's STGCC (Singapore Toy, Games & Comic Convention) or for the lazy people who don't like long names like me, "Toycon" will do. It's another huge convention so I'm looking forward to that~! My work will be displayed with artists from MARVEL comics too *wheee!* I ish happy! And a whole bunch of other famous artists. Stay tuned!

Have you heard of Korea's biggest concert by SM Entertainment this year, called sm town live 2010? (Apparently it's one of the biggest concerts with 50 korean artists and 35,000 ppl)
Extra fan pic of Taemin from SHINee on the plane for SM Town Live 2010 (exclusively for *ahem!* ~circus-usagi geheh.
WELL... there's gonna be a mini one - in SINGAPORE!! Remember what I said about celebrities flocking to Singapore for unknown reasons? xD This time 6 korean bands are coming all at one shot, for KPOP Night 2010! Ok I'm not a huge KPop fan, but lately I've been listening to quite abit of them. Gyaa~ Korean guys are from Venus I swear! Normal men are from Mars. heh
The 6 bands coming are Girl's Generation (SNSD), SHINee, BIG BANG, FT Island, Infinite and D-NA! I'm definitely a BIG BANG fan!! *w* I love bad boys huhuhu~
[I've chosen the best photos that I can find, sorry I don't know Infinite that well so if it's the wrong pic pls tell me and I'll...hide in a hole.]
Gaaaah so many hot asses flying themselves here *sparkly eyes* 5 guy bands + 1 girl band. This is gonna be an AWESOME concert!!
And yes, since it's such a huge event here in this little country, my friends and I have rallied ourselves *hahaa* for that night! x'] It's gonna be on 23 October but when tickets were released yesterday - it was human madness o_O;; Lemme tell ya about this traumatic yet exciting experience. This might be worse than my experience with Tokio Hotel hahaa
It all started at 12 midnight on 4th September, when the event organisers announced very suddenly that there was gonna be a queue for not even the tickets, but for the QUEUE NUMBER! o_O How insane is that. If you know about this, you'll know there are close to 27,000 ppl on that facebook page. And you'll also know that if all 27,000 ppl show up at 12mn to queue for the queue number, Somerset 313 (the location of this queue) is gonna fall within seconds xD It'll be World War III and hitler doesnt even have to be involved.
Just LOOK at the number of people who showed up that night. I heard it was about 4000 people and it was chaotic enough! I'd only expected 100 or so to be queuing overnight but OMG when we arrived there were more than a thousand Srsly, I never ever knew Korean bands were SO popular in Singapore!
Even the police and ambulance were there - and again, this is not even the queue for the tickets HAHA!
Furthermore I bet 50% of the people didn't know who Infinite and D-NA were, just like me xD Which leaves a huge fanbase for the other 4 groups!! Anyway to cut the story reallyyyy short, we got a shit queue number after all that waiting and we needed a damn miracle when the ticket booths opened the next morning. (Because duh, the tickets were gonna be snatched up in just one day) True enough, every seat for the first 2 categories were GONE by around 9pm the following day. Thankfully we did see a miracle when we found this wonderful 15-yr-old girl by the name of Brenda (I LOVE YOU!) who was willing to help us get the tickets! The organisers were quite a shame, really. Thinking that people will still obediently queue with hopes the next day for tickets. I shan't say their name but you all know who organised this event. Heh.
Everyone more or less felt the same way about the organisation so I'm not alone. But that aside, ONLY because of the bands that are coming, I'm totally closing one eye about this! It's the first time BIG BANG is in Singapore and I sincerely hope they'll enjoy it here!
P.S. Oh yes, I'm also sorry that I haven't been submitting anything lately!! I've been crazily busy the past weeks with work, plus meeting lots of dA friends who want to come to Singapore! (yea not only celebrities wanna come here haha!) Special thanks to for coming from India, and and for coming from the UK! I'm a little free-er now so expect new works soon, mah dears~!

[Edit! I just found out that when Tokio Hotel was in town, one of my friends was working at their dressing room at Singfest! She had to make sure the artists' got what they needed, their clothes, their food.. Now that is luckier! LOL]
TA-DAAA! That's the closest shot I have from meeting with Tokio Hotel, I think I was one of the rare few people who managed to get the camera anywhere closer than that without being thrown off the stage T.T
(FYI, they're all guys in case you're scratching your bald head going "but I see long hair! D:")
So YES, my meeting with more celebrities is over! I'm really pleased to be able to give my drawings (O' my sweat and blood~!) to tom kaulitz, one of the twin brothers that doesn't look like his twin at all LOL. This is the crappy photo of before the drawings were given to Tom.
And check out my deviations - I've posted them woohoo!
I'm glad to meet them, and I'm proud of the two DJs too! (above) shan and ros, I think. Of course, Tokio hotel was late as with every other celeb but thankfully they weren't fashionably late The fans were awesome as well~! ~circus-usagi had imagined them to be crying and kicking, tearing their clothes apart and climbing the palm trees *hahaha* , but to our surprise they were so well-behaved.
Waiting for the band lol... I secretly caught the DJ's expression *gotcha!*
There were even little kids watching from a distance, as well as old grannies HAHA! x'D I looked across the other side of the tent and spotted this old uncle in slippers and shorts and totally LOL-ed if he was here to see Tokio Hotel It was really such an informal atmosphere~
But that said, I think the worse part has been the tokio hotel management team. Or whatever they're called. Pardon me but I think the management that day was just...too much. Firstly you all know they stopped us from taking any photo or bringing a camera on stage. Secondly Tokio Hotel will only autograph the Humanoid special edition CD, and nothing else! I'm not even talking about signing on ~circus-usagi's gorgeous ass. xD So those who bought other CDs were not allowed to even get on stage, WTF. The last (which annoyed me the most actually), was this fat german guy No idea who he is, but he planted himself on stage and practically shoved everyone from one end to the other, he wouldn't let a single soul spend more than 30 seconds with the band. T__T But you see, even with his "efficiency", when I came to Bill there were like 5 CDs in front of him he looked like one of those pirated DVD sellers in China haha~!! xD
In short, the management really sucked. The fat man was shoving people off the stage, Bill was so busy with the stacks of CDs in front of him he didn't even look up (which explains why I gave my drawings to Tom instead) Aaaaaaanyway.
Got it signed, no idea whose signature is whose *haha!*, hoped the twins liked my artwork because all Tom said was "hi", and that's it~!
Can't wait to see more celebs when they happily float into this small little country~!
If you're a Tokio Hotel fan and wanna see some interview footages from their stay in Singapore, here are some! I'm not really a fan but I must say these are probably the most informal interviews I've seen of them! (Where they talk about pooping heh.)

I just realised something incredible. SINGAPORE - it's a country that is so tiny and the only country that cannot be found on the world map *lmao*. Yet for some insane reason, almost every celebrity, sports star, artiste, actor, president, (animal?), author...you name it, THEY'RE HERE. I don't mean living here, I mean coming to this pea-sized country to visit.
It's incredible because there're only about 4 million people over here, half are grannies blocking the paths, the other half are working adults rushing past these grannies.. My point is, is there really a big fan base over here? Big enough for celebrities like Jet Li to want to move to Singapore to stay? I mean, our soccer teams can't even make it past qualifying rounds at the World Cup! What makes all them big celebrities wanna come here lol.. Well answer is, YES. Mysteriously!
I'm excited because in about 2 weeks' time another flood of artists are coming to Singapore! For some event I had no idea about at first but then I heard who the artists were and im like, ?!
Hahaa~ For those of you who know, im talking about SINGFEST '10!! I heard Katy Perry is coming, Kanye West is coming *ugh*, Orianthi the famous female bassist is coming, Wondergirls too I think? Tokio Hotel is coming, Smashin Pumpkins is coming (omg I didnt know they're still surviving o.O) and and...get this!! 30 seconds to mars is coming~!!!!!!! *spasms*
...and a whole bunch of other artists I probably have no idea about lol xD I'm such an outdated idiot.
Doubt I'm going for Singfest because I'm chinese and I must always have "no money" *ahahaha!* but since all these stars are raining down on this lil country o' mine, I thought I should at least meet SOME of them xD Can't believe I missed getting adam lambert's autograph and I was so close to him I even trampled on his "Red carpet" accidentally and didn't know he was coming the next second. *FAIL PLZ* Oh apparently Kris Allen came too sometime earlier and I didn't know. xD!! Sean Kingston and stereophonics were here too sometime ago, not sure what for HAHA. Tokio hotel came to Singapore back in April as well, I can't believe Singapore was their first stop in ASIA and not Tokyo!! *LMFAO seriously* o_O
Meeting tokio hotel
So THIS TIME ROUND, im stepping outta my shell and going to them! On 4th August, my buddy and I are going to meet....TOKIO HOTEL. ahahaaa.. We kinda needed an avenue to scream our lungs out anyway. Omgah I needa give them something I'll probably be drawing some crappy piece of Bill and Tom in the coming days xD And hoping with my frail heart that they'll like it. Actually my job on that day is really to prevent ~circus-usagi from traumatising Bill & Tom by making them sign her ass. And then dragging her fainted corpse home.
So yup, wait for my Tokio Hotel meeting report in about 2 weeks time xD
In the meantime, DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW WE CAN MEET JARED LETO?!?!?! Hahaha! I swear ~circus-usagi is gonna transform into a wild beast on the spot and go berserk but I don't care! 30 Seconds to Mars is right at our door step, people!!
Omgah such a long journal I should stop blabbering now. *POOF!*
